Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific is seeking an Electrical Technician to take ownership of electrical panel work and support for new equipment installations in our facility. The role focuses on reading schematics, troubleshooting motor control and PLC systems, and producing CAD drawings with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) required.
• Ability to work unsupervised on industrial electrical panels.
• Hold a current NSW Electrical Licence.
• Safety-first approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail with effective issue resolution.
• Basic to intermediate PLC and HMI software skills.
• Familiarity with industrial sensors and signalling.
• Basic electronic skills including soldering and PCB assembly.

Responsibilities

Supported by our team of engineering professionals, and coupled with your strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, your responsibilities will include:

• Electrical panel construction and assembly.
• Troubleshooting motor control systems and industrial PLC control systems.
• Provide support for the installation of new electrical equipment.
