Job summary

Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking a Library Operations Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and operational support for library services across the municipality. The role offers a hybrid working model and a permanent full-time contract, based at Hastings Office and library branches.

You will assist with service planning, rostering, governance and reporting, and support projects and continuous improvement across the Libraries team.

Qualifications

• Experience in business support, administration or customer service.
• Experience in rostering, resource allocation and process coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and library management systems.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for library services.
• Coordinate staff rostering and scheduling across library branches.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports for governance and compliance.
