Wyndham City Libraries is seeking a senior library operations leader to oversee collections and workforce capability, delivering inclusive, community-responsive services across Wyndham. You will manage budgets, procurement and reporting while driving continuous improvement and strategic planning.

Formación

• Degree qualifications in Library Services or a related discipline, with substantial relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in library operations, collection development and workforce capability initiatives.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading high-performing teams.
• Experience managing budgets, projects, operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and management of Wyndham Libraries’ physical and digital collections.
• Coordinate workforce capability initiatives including training, induction and professional development programs.
• Manage collection and workforce capability budgets, procurement and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with library leaders and stakeholders to deliver service improvements and innovative library initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong capability in leading and developing direct reports through regular coaching, clear communication, supportive feedback and fostering professional growth opportunities.
• Respond proactively and agilely to emerging operational requirements, effectively problem-solving in fast-paced and changing environments.
• Reviewing customer feedback, analysing service data and supporting continuous improvement across library operations.
