Sunshine Coast Council’s Arts, Heritage and Libraries Branch seeks a Library Officer to deliver outstanding customer service and champion the full range of library services. The Arts, Heritage and Libraries Branch enriches the lives of residents and visitors by providing arts and cultural leadership, opportunities, knowledge, experiences and meaningful community connections. Through innovative library services, programs and resources, the branch supports lifelong learning, literacy, inclusion and community wellbeing across the Sunshine Coast. As a Library Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service while championing the full range of Sunshine Coast Libraries services, resources and programs. From supporting digital literacy and information services to facilitating engaging community programs and maintaining vibrant library spaces, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the lives of library users every day
Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
