As a Literacy Services Officer, you will play a key role in delivering literacy programs that support adult learners across the Sunshine Coast. Working closely with learners, volunteer tutors, community organisations and library staff, you will help coordinate programs, facilitate learning opportunities, provide administrative support, and build meaningful partnerships. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct and lasting difference in the lives of community members while contributing to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
You bring qualifications or equivalent experience in adult literacy, teaching, education or a related field, along with a genuine desire to help people achieve positive learning outcomes.
You have demonstrated experience in adult literacy education and enjoy working with learners, volunteers and diverse community groups to create supportive and engaging learning experiences.
You possess strong organisational and time management skills, can manage multiple priorities effectively, and work confidently both independently and collaboratively.
You have excellent customer service and communication skills, exercise sound judgement, and are confident using Microsoft Office and information management systems to deliver professional outcomes.
