Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking energetic Librarians who understand the dynamics of a modern library. You will handle advanced services, program development, and community engagement, supporting Library Officers and ensuring smooth operations across our four libraries in the Rockhampton Region.

These roles involve no set hours and require on-call availability, weekend shifts, and roster-based site changes.

Qualifications

• Degree in library and information management (or related discipline).
• Blue Card for working with Children and Young People.
• Proven experience in a public library environment.
• Commitment to reading literacy and community service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with advanced library services and program development.
• Support Library Officers and ensure smooth operation of library services.
• Work on an 'as needs' basis with on-call availability and weekend shifts.
