Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is seeking a Leisure & Lifestyle Lead for Green Hills Residential Care in East Maitland, NSW. This maximum term, full-time role (38 hours per week) focuses on championing activities that promote meaningful wellbeing for residents.

You will lead a team to deliver tailored leisure strategies, collaborate with volunteers and community groups, and drive initiatives that enhance quality of life for residents in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification and experience leading wellbeing/leisure approaches for residents in a healthcare setting.
• Aptitude to learn and work within the framework of the Aged Care Standards.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage, coach and engage a team to perform at their best.
• Collaborative, empathetic, energetic and proactive with a can-do attitude.
• Adept at conflict resolution and able to find common ground with stakeholders.
• Possess a current Criminal History Check suitable for aged care.

Responsibilities

• Lead wellbeing/leisure approaches for residents in healthcare settings.
• Champion regular and ad-hoc activities to enable meaningful and holistic wellbeing.
• Support staff to plan activities and implement wellbeing initiatives.
• Connect community groups and volunteers to the resident community.
