Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities in East Maitland, NSW, is seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Lead to champion wellbeing programs for residents in Green Hills Residential Care. You will design and lead engaging activities, advocating for holistic care and quality of life.

As coach and mentor, you will empower staff, coordinate with volunteers and community groups, and deliver compassionate, person-centered care that makes a real difference in residents' daily lives.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and experience leading wellbeing/leisure and lifestyle for residents in healthcare
• Ability to learn and adapt to the Aged Care Standards
• Proven leadership to coach and engage a team
• Collaborative, empathetic, energetic and proactive with a can-do attitude
• Adept at conflict resolution with stakeholders
• Current Criminal History Check suitable for aged care

About you

With a passion for supportingothers to aged well, you will have:

• Relevantqualification and experience leading wellbeing/leisure & lifestyle approaches for patients orresidents in a healthcare setting
• Aptitudeto learn and work within the framework of the Aged Care Standards
• Demonstratedleadership skills to manage, coach and engage a team to perform at theirbest
• Acollaborative, emphatic, energetic and proactive with a can-do outgoingattitude
• Adeptat conflict resolution and able to find common ground within a range ofstakeholders
