The role emphasizes collaboration, flexibility (office-based with occasional work from home) and a focus on building strong relationships across the team. The Melbourne office offers opportunities to work on complex projects within the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal support role.
• Exposure to billing, invoicing and reporting.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Experience with matter management and mentoring junior team members.
• A positive, proactive approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A passion for supporting your team and helping to strengthen client relationships.
• An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies

Responsibilities

• Managing matters, time entries and billing with precision.
• Coordinating internal and external meetings, proactively adjusting schedules when priority matters arise.
• Creating and managing documents using Microsoft Office and iManage.
• Organising travel and reconciling expenses.
• Supporting and helping to manage business development initiatives and events.
• Collaborating with Legal Assistants in other practice groups on joint matters.
• Collaborating with and mentoring Administrative Assistants.
• Maintaining compliance with firm policies, including file management and risk protocols
