Job summary

Mount Alvernia College Limited seeks a Library and Learning Technologies Officer to support library services, digital technology, audiovisual and media services. The role is part of the Canticle Learning Hub, providing practical student and staff support while maintaining a welcoming, well-resourced learning environment.

This term-time position follows school term schedules with hours aligning to school days. A copy of the position description is available on the College website.

Qualifications

• Strong digital capability and confidence with technology, with the ability to learn new systems and provide practical support to students and staff.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide responsive, professional service.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage resources, systems, equipment and competing priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot routine issues and know when to escalate more complex matters.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to contribute across the varied responsibilities of the Canticle Learning Hub.

Responsibilities

• Supports the delivery of library, digital technology, audiovisual and media services across the College.
• Provides practical support to students and staff while helping to maintain a welcoming, contemporary learning environment.
• Works as part of the Canticle Learning Hub team to support teaching and learning across the College.
