St Paul’s Primary School in Bentleigh is seeking a caring Learning Support Officer to work Thursdays and Fridays in Term 4 2026.

You will support students with diverse learning needs, following teacher directions and promoting engagement, independence and participation in learning within a Catholic school community.

Qualifications

• Relevant Education Support qualification preferred.

Learning Support Officer (LSO) Position

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and collaborative Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our team for Thursdays and Fridays during Term 4, 2026. The successful applicant will work alongside classroom teachers to support students with diverse learning needs and help promote their engagement, independence and participation in learning.

Days: Thursday and Friday

Commencement: Term 4 2026

The successful applicant will demonstrate

• A warm, patient and positive approach to working with children.
• An understanding of inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• The ability to follow teacher direction, implement student adjustments and promote student independence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn, receive feedback and engage in professional learning.
• A commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of St Paul’s Primary School.

The successful application will have
