Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul Primary School in Melbourne is seeking a Learning Support Officer to join our committed staff for 2027.

The 0.81 FTE role commences on January 27, 2027, across five days from 8:30am to 3:30pm, to support students within classrooms under the guidance of the classroom teacher. The successful applicant will work in a collaborative team, providing support for a student’s academic, social, emotional and behaviour learning, while maintaining progress notes and assisting with

Qualifications

• Must have Working with Children Check clearance.
• Experience supporting students' academic, social and wellbeing needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students' academic, social, emotional and behaviour learning in classrooms.
• Maintain notes to record student progress as required by school procedures.
• Assist with Personalised Learning Plans and progress reviews with teachers.
• Liaise with classroom teacher and Learning Diversity Leader to review support programs.
• Contribute to strong partnerships with families and ongoing professional learning.
