Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to model high-level teaching and learning practice across curriculum.
• Ability to support others to evaluate impact of learning programs on student growth.
• Expertise in monitoring and using student data to inform teaching.
• Experience in leading school-wide professional learning and observation/feedback protocols.
• Demonstrated capacity to mentor and coach teachers and student teachers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Model exemplary classroom practice including teaching demonstration lessons.
• Collaborate with school leadership to define effective teacher practice.
• Lead and model whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
• Provide professional learning through observation, feedback and peer collaboration.
• Model data-informed feedback to teachers to support development.
• Offer expert advice on professional learning contexts and strategies.
• Supervise and mentor student teachers and coach teachers.
• Demonstrate use of student data to inform teaching approaches.
• Promote school-wide professional learning structures and PLCs.
• Seek feedback from teachers and leaders to improve practice.
