Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of curriculum.
• Ability to model high impact teaching strategies.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff and the wider community.
• Ability to reflect on practice and facilitate school-based professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Modelling classroom practice including through teaching demonstration lessons.
• Collaborating with school leadership to define effective teacher practice.
• Leading and modelling whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
• Providing professional learning through developing processes for observation, feedback and peer collaboration.
• Using student data to inform teaching approaches and provide feedback.
