Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Learning Leader - Humanities to support high-quality teaching and student engagement. This 3 year tenured leadership position works alongside teaching duties to lead curriculum development and assessment within the Humanities learning area.

The role reports to the Vice Principal - Learning and Teaching and involves collaborating with Instructional Coaches and leaders to strengthen student outcomes, align with Padua’s framework, and plan

Qualifications

• Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration required for teaching positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development and program design within the Humanities learning area.
• Ensure rigorous teaching and student engagement across courses in the Learning Area.
• Collaborate with the Director of Educational Initiatives, Instructional Coaches and learning leaders to strengthen pedagogy and student outcomes.
• Oversee administration of the Learning Area, support staff development, and implement decisions from the Principal or College Improvement Team.
