Job summary

Good News Lutheran College in Melbourne's western corridor is seeking collaborative Teacher Aides/Learning Enrichment Officers to join a thriving, Christian learning community. Working under the classroom teacher, you will support students’ learning and engagement by implementing appropriate strategies and assisting those with diverse needs, including students with disability.

• Qualifications in Education support
• Past experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of positive behaviour support approaches
• Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College
• Excellent relationship and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support students’ learning, development and engagement by implementing appropriate teaching and learning strategies
• Assist with monitoring and supporting student behaviour and undertake administrative and logistical tasks
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students, including those requiring emotional regulation or who may display behaviours of concern
