Job summary

Glasshouse Christian College on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a caring Learning Enhancement Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role provides direct support to students with disability, collaborating with the Learning Enhancement Team and classroom teachers, and supporting learning in classrooms and withdrawal programs.

The successful applicant will help with differentiated teaching, monitor progress, and contribute to IEP/ESP implementation while working with families, visiting teachers

Qualifications

• Commitment to Christian ethos and school values.
• Experience supporting students with disability or additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with differentiated learning and assessment.
• Support implementation of IEPs/ESPs.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to Learning Enhancement program.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and allied health professionals.
• Provide direct and timely support to students in classroom and small-group settings.
