Job summary

Randwick City Council is seeking a Learning & Development Officer to collaborate with the HR team to plan, coordinate and deliver learning initiatives that build workforce capability, strengthen culture, and enhance employee engagement.

You will source external providers, manage onboarding through LMS platforms, and partner with leaders to identify development needs and design targeted solutions that support staff well-being and performance.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in training and Assessment or other qualifications in Adult Learning and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience in learning needs analysis and end-to-end design, facilitation, engagement and evaluation of adult learning and workforce capability development programs across face-to-face, e-learning and blended learning environments.
• Experience in providing system administration support for Learning Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Source, engage and evaluate external learning and development providers to deliver specialised, compliant and accredited training solutions
• Use a range of digital platforms, systems, learning technologies and resources to facilitate employee onboarding and support managers in the implementation of induction and orientation programs
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and business leaders to identify organisational learning, capability development and employee well-being requirements, and design and implement targeted solutions
• Support the Coordinator in the design, delivery and evaluation of employee development, engagement and organisational capability initiatives
