Job summary

Maribyrnong City Council invites applications for an Organisational Development Officer to join our People, Culture & Performance team on a temporary full-time basis until 20 August 2027. The role focuses on designing learning programs and developing engaging e-learning content.

You will coordinate organisation-wide initiatives, support systems and processes underpinning capability development, and foster employee engagement and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience supporting organisation-wide projects from planning through delivery and evaluation.
• Strong project coordination skills and ability to manage competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in HR/OD

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging e-learning and learning resources for Council employees.
• Coordinate and support organisation-wide learning, capability and organisational development initiatives.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops and other development activities.
• Administer and continuously improve systems and frameworks for learning, compliance and growth.
• Coordinate activities that promote employee engagement, inclusion and organisational performance.
• Provide high-quality project, administrative and stakeholder support across organisational development programs.
• Act as a key point of contact for organisational development enquiries and build relationships across Council.
