Safe Places for Children is seeking a full-time Learning Officer to design, deliver and evaluate learning initiatives across the organisation. You will develop engaging training materials and run induction programs for Youth Workers, Case Managers, and other roles to build workforce capability.

The role collaborates with subject matter experts to stay aligned with best practices in residential care. The Learning Officer will assess learning needs, deliver a range of learning methods, and ensure

Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma or higher-level qualification in a Community Service field (desirable).
• Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or be willing to obtain it.
• Confidently facilitate training workshops and utilise a variety of learning methods to support the transfer of learning.
• Have 12 months experience in a training or coaching role.

Responsabilités

• Training and development: develop engaging training materials aligned with Safe Places mission and values.
• Facilitate induction programs for Youth Workers, Case Managers and other roles.
• Conduct in-person training sessions across Safe Places staff.
• Lead leadership training for employees at various management levels.
• Identify learning needs with L&D team and develop targeted interventions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and assessments.
• Ensure training programs meet regulatory and organisational standards and maintain records.
