Job summary

Southern Cross University is seeking a Learning and Organisational Development Coordinator to coordinate university-wide learning, development and workplace culture programs, and to lead the technology, systems and processes that support these initiatives.

A key focus is ongoing management of SCU's staff Learning Management System (LMS), alongside major annual programs such as Career Catalyst, Staff Feedback Surveys and Special Studies Leave, with a maternity leave arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating learning courses and events with attention to detail and meaningful staff experiences.
• Comfort with technology (LMS, HRIS or similar) and a willingness to learn new tools, including AI-enabled ways of working.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of SCU's staff LMS, including content, access, reporting and user support.
• Coordinate university-wide learning, development and culture programs from planning through to facilitation and reporting of participation and feedback.
• Develop clear, engaging communications, resources and guidance that create a positive experience for staff and program participants.
• Use reporting and insights to identify opportunities to improve learning programs, systems and employee engagement.
• Collaborate across People & Culture and the wider University to deliver quality outcomes.
