Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks a Manager Learning Design for a temporary opportunity up to 8 months, based in Petersham, NSW. You will lead learning design for the Digital Systems Program, coordinating with Sydney Trains/NSW TrainLink and managing learning specialists to deliver safety-critical, competency-based content.

You must have 5+ years in learning design and at least 1 year in people leadership, with strong stakeholder engagement, LNA, LAS and LMS expertise.

Qualifications

• Five years of designing, developing and evaluating learning solutions in complex environments.
• At least one year of managing a Learning Design team in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and Learning and Assessment Strategies (LAS).
• Knowledge of Standards for RTOs and learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning design and delivery for the Digital Systems Program across Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink.
• Manage Learning Design Specialists in classroom, eLearning and simulator training.
• Collaborate with project teams, SMEs and regulators to align training with business needs and compliance.
• Contribute to LMS and digital learning initiatives in an agile environment.
