Job summary

The Victorian Department of Health is seeking a Performance and Capability Officer to provide administrative support and system expertise for learning, capability and organisation development programs across the department.

You will support the day-to-day operations of the PDP and progression processes, collaborate with teams to resolve operational issues, prepare briefs and reports, and apply advanced knowledge to problem solving using department systems.

Qualifications

• An appropriate tertiary qualification in HR, learning and development, or training and assessment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Resolves operational service delivery problems consistent with program objectives.
• Prepares reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level.
• Researches and applies advanced theoretical knowledge in a specialised field to operational problem solving.
• Develops and implements operational policy which impacts the immediate work area.
