Job summary

The Department of Health in Victoria is seeking a Performance and Capability Officer to support day-to-day operations of learning and capability initiatives, including PDP and progression processes. You will work with department systems to deliver key learning programs and drive organisational development.

Ideal candidates will have a tertiary HR/L&D qualification, strong digital literacy, and experience with learning or performance management systems.

Qualifications

• An appropriate tertiary qualification in HR, learning and development, or training and assessment is desirable.
• Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using learning or performance management systems is favourable.

Responsibilities

• Resolves operational service delivery problems consistent with program objectives.
• Prepares reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level.
• Researches and applies advanced theoretical knowledge in a specialised field to operational problem solving.
• Develops and implements operational policy which impacts the immediate work area.
