Job summary

CMTP is a proudly Australian, family-owned manufacturing business seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive practical site-level improvements. You will work closely with production teams to reduce waste, downtime and rework, while building capability and delivering operational excellence.

This hands-on role reports to the Production Manager and requires the ability to remove roadblocks, coach frontline teams, and turn ideas into actionable improvements that strengthen safety and quality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, process improvement or manufacturing operations.
• Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement training or qualifications will be highly regarded.
• A genuine interest in growing your career in production or operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvements that strengthen safety, quality, productivity and consistency.
• Work with the local production team to understand workflows, equipment, layout and challenges.
• Reduce waste, downtime and rework through practical process improvements.
• Coach teams to identify, trial and sustain better ways of working.
• Turn team ideas into practical improvement actions.
