Job summary

Cleanaway in Victoria is seeking an HR-licensed supervisor to coordinate drivers and ensure pre-start checks. You will operate HR collection vehicles and oversee loading/unloading of waste.

This full-time role offers penalties for overtime, early morning starts, and a safe, professional working environment with modern fleet and onsite parking.

You will maintain records, use company systems, and contribute to a zero-harm culture while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Heavy Rigid Licence is a minimum requirement.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and leadership/teamwork capabilities.
• MS Office and operational databases are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers and ensure pre-start checks; drivers depart the depot on schedule.
• Operate HR collection vehicles (side, front lift and Hook truck).
• Maintain a professional image and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste as required.
• Complete all records and paperwork accurately as directed.
• Operate user-friendly systems and other work-related systems.

Job description

The Opportunity:

• $37.05 per hour + penalties for overtime
• Early morning starts, Monday to Friday. Overtime as required – OT paid at penalty rates

• Coordinate drivers, ensuring pre-start checks are carried out, and drivers depart the depot on schedule
• Operate HR collection vehicles. Side, front lift and Hook truck
• Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high-quality customer service at all times
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste as required
• Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required
• Operate user friendly computerized systems and other work-related systems

Your skills and experience:

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence as a minimum
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and leadership/teamwork capabilities
• Computer skills in MS Office and operational databases desirable
• Experience within the waste and/or transport industry
