Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management Limited is seeking experienced HR Drivers for our Cairns depot to operate waste collection vehicles and serve customers across the region. You will start with paid training in November in Cairns, or travel to Brisbane for 1 week of training with travel and accommodation provided by Cleanaway.

The role offers a minimum 38 hours per week with overtime penalties, an hourly rate of $35.77 plus super, and full induction, training and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• HR Licence as a minimum
• Good traffic history report
• Good attitude, reliable, and willing to learn
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
• Ability to commence training in November in Cairns or travel to Brisbane for 1 week of training (travel and accommodation paid by Cleanaway)
• Waste industry experience is not required (highly regarded)

Due to winning a long-term council contract commencing 1st of December, we are seeking experienced HR Drivers to join the team at our Cairns depot.
