Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a hands-on employee for a full-time site cleaning and labouring role in Townsville. The position involves loading and unloading liquid waste, transferring waste between containers and trucks, and maintaining a safe, clean work site.

Applicants should hold an HR licence; experience with front end loader or excavator is highly regarded, and a forklift licence is advantageous. Fitness to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test is required.

Job description

• $33.18 per hour + overtime as required
• Day shift 7am starts - Monday to Friday
• Overtime/Penalty Rates paid for weekends and Public Holidays

The Opportunity:

• General site cleaning and labouring
• Loading and unloading industrial liquid waste
• Transferring waste from collection containers, loading and unloading primarily liquid waste trucks
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site

About You:

• HR licence, Front End loader/Excavator experience highly regarded
• Forklift licence advantageous
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
