Jancode Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Leading Hand - Formwork / Carpenter with Steel fixing & Concrete experience to join our team in Cairns, QLD. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of formwork structures, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met throughout all projects.

You will manage and supervise a small team, measure and assemble formwork materials, and coordinate activities with the construction team while upholding strict

Qualifikationen

• Leading Hand experience in Formwork/Concrete & Steel fixing with a minimum of 2 years in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of formwork techniques and building codes.
• Current construction industry certifications and licenses.
• Must have own transport and driver's license.

Aufgaben

What you'll be doing

• Managing & supervising a small team

• Installing formwork structures and ensuring they are securely braced and aligned
• Maintaining and repairing existing formwork components
• Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate formwork activities
• Adhering to all health and safety protocols on site
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand with expererance in Formwork / Concrete & Steel fixing with a minimum of 2 year in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of formwork techniques and building codes
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Current construction industry certifications and licenses
• Must have own transport and driver's license
