Job summary

Jancode Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Leading Hand - Formwork / Carpenter with Steel fixing & Concrete experience to join our team in Cairns, QLD. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of formwork structures, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met throughout all projects.

You will manage and supervise a small team, measure and assemble formwork materials, and coordinate activities with the construction team while upholding strict

Qualifications

Leading Hand experience in Formwork/Concrete & Steel fixing with a minimum of 2 years in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of formwork techniques and building codes.
Current construction industry certifications and licenses.
Must have own transport and driver's license.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise a small team on site.
Measure, cut, and assemble formwork materials to specification.
Install formwork structures and ensure bracing and alignment.
Maintain and repair existing formwork components.
Coordinate formwork activities with the construction team.
Adhere to health and safety protocols on site.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
