Job summary

TORRA in Sydney seeks an experienced Leading Hand to supervise a small crew on active civil and infrastructure sites across Western Sydney. You will coordinate daily tasks, allocate work, and perform hands-on civil duties while ensuring safety and quality on site.

This role offers an immediate start, a stable roster from Monday to Friday with 7:00am–5:00pm, and overtime opportunities. You’ll work with an established contractor delivering roads, bridges, and marine/structural works across NSW.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ civil construction experience, including leading hand exposure.
• Multiskilled across groundworks and plant operation.
• Experience on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, retaining walls).
• Able to lead a crew while remaining hands‑on.
• White Card and reliable transport.
• Strong safety and teamwork focus.
• Able to pass drug & alcohol screening and medical.
