Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a Team Lead Systems Engineer to guide a team of Infrastructure Engineers focused on Windows and Microsoft 365. You will balance technical hands-on work with people leadership, driving operational excellence and shaping core infrastructure platforms.

You will lead a team of up to 10 engineers and contractors, mentoring, coaching and ensuring delivery while staying connected to technical challenges in a modern enterprise environment.

Qualifications

Experience with enterprise Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
Proven ability to lead technical teams and coach engineers.
Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop Infrastructure Engineers to foster a high-performing team.
Oversee ServiceNow queues, ticket management, escalations and SLA performance.
Drive operational excellence across Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
Manage vulnerability remediation, alert monitoring and platform health activities.
Support Active Directory, Exchange, Entra ID and core infrastructure services.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.
Contribute to infrastructure projects and technical solution design.
Manage the team's on-call capability and coverage.
