Job summary

Insignia Financial in Brisbane seeks a Team Lead Systems Engineer to guide a team of Infrastructure Engineers, balancing hands-on Windows and Microsoft 365 work with strong people leadership across our critical platforms.

You will mentor up to 10 engineers, drive service performance and shape platform evolution, ensuring incident responsiveness, SLA adherence and a culture of continuous improvement in a modern enterprise environment.

Qualifications

Experience leading technical teams in a service delivery environment.
Strong Windows Server and Microsoft 365 proficiency.
Experience with incident, ticket, and SLA management.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop Infrastructure Engineers to foster a high-performing and engaged culture.
Oversee ServiceNow queues, ticket management, escalations and SLA performance across the team.
Drive operational excellence across Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
Manage vulnerability remediation, alert monitoring and platform health activities.
Support Active Directory, Exchange, Entra ID and core infrastructure services.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities and operational uplift activities.
Contributing to infrastructure projects, planning activities and technical solution design.
Managing the team's on-call capability and ensuring effective support coverage.
