Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Site Manager to oversee site management construction staff at Lotus Creek Wind Farm, QLD. You will manage comprehensive site construction activities, ensuring safe and on-time delivery of projects within a dynamic international team.

The role requires a proven track record in site construction management (min 5 years), strong leadership, and the ability to manage costs and risk in a remote wind project environment. Wind industry experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in site construction management - minimum of 5 years.
• Experience in managing general site administrative directions and support.
• Intermediate IT skills, e.g. MS Office, MS Project user or key user.
• Wind Industry experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site safety to highest standards.
• Achieve contractual schedule.
• Ensure highest quality levels on site.
• Provide clear direction for Vestas site management personnel.
• Maintain good working relationships with the customer, subcontractors, and any other stakeholders.
• Resourcing and staff management.
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risk.
• Manage all site costs - site spend (subcontractor, resourcing, plant etc.), pre-calc, post-calc.
• Alignment with internal bid management and procurement departments as required.
