Job summary

Vestas seeks an experienced Site Supervisor for the Dulacca Wind Farm in Queensland to lead hands-on maintenance, ensure safety, and drive turbine reliability. You will mentor technicians, manage service schedules, and coordinate with the Site Planner and customer representatives to maintain performance KPIs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, budget awareness, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to sustain grid energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical trade qualification is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems is advantageous.
• Strong customer service mindset and stakeholder awareness.
• Ability to lead hands-on maintenance teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site safety to Vestas standards and promote a safe culture.
• Achieve wind farm performance while meeting service timeframes.
• Provide clear direction to service personnel.
• Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Mentor team and transfer knowledge.
• Monitor safety and KPIs.
• Supervise wind turbine generator maintenance and related works.
• Schedule rosters and on-call arrangements with Site Planner.
• Oversee budgetary reporting and subcontractor support.
