Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia in Greystanes is seeking an experienced Leading Hand, or Storeperson, to step up into a Leading Hand role. You will lead a team, manage KPI performance and ensure smooth inbound/outbound and inventory processes in a high-volume 3PL warehouse.

Key requirements include a forklift licence, strong customer service, good communication with stakeholders, and proven leadership. The role offers training, safety focus, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Proven operational experience working in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment.
• Forklift licence including High Reach/Counter Balance/Double Deep is highly desirable.
• Proven customer facing experience with the ability to deliver superior customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• WMS experience – including exposure to the various functions.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team to ensure objectives are communicated, and KPI’s achieved on a daily basis
• Ensure operational performance across functions including inbound, outbound, picking/packing, and inventory
• Customer interaction including maintaining good working relationships and responding to all enquiries in a timely manner
• Maintaining stock integrity in warehouse including adhering to DHL policies and procedures
• Following safe work practices and work instructions
• Assist with identifying training needs and opportunities to develop the team
