Job summary

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground & Surface Construction Supervisors to lead underground construction, mechanical and civil works on ongoing mining projects in Mt Isa. You will supervise crews, coordinate daily site activities and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong planning and communication skills while collaborating with clients and site teams. FIFO or local arrangements apply, with immediate start on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience supervising underground construction projects.
• Proven experience leading underground mining crews.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
• Mining experience is essential.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
• G1/G8/G9 supervisor qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise underground construction, mechanical and civil crews on mining projects.
• Coordinate labour, equipment and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to high standards of quality and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, project teams and site personnel to ensure smooth execution.
