Job summary

MCA Engineering seeks experienced Underground & Surface Construction Supervisors for Mt Isa projects. This hands-on FIFO role operates on a 2:1 roster from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns; local applicants are welcome.

You will lead underground construction crews, coordinate mechanical and civil works, and maintain safety, quality and timely delivery while collaborating with clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience supervising underground construction projects.
• Proven experience leading construction, mechanical and/or civil crews in underground mining environments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to coordinate labour, equipment and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Excellent understanding of underground mining safety standards and procedures.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
• Mining experience is essential.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
• Supervisor qualifications (G1, G8 or G9 or equivalent) preferred.
