Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver VIP, deskside IT support for large, complex clients and across the company’s product suite. You will perform high-level installation work for storage and network hardware, troubleshoot across hardware, software and OS, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities include configuring MDM platforms, managing Active Directory/Azure AD, and delivering white-glove support for executives and VIP stakeholders.

Qualifications

• NV2 Security Clearance is required for this role.
• Experience providing VIP and executive desk-side IT support.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and networks.

Job description

What success looks like in this role: Serves as Field Engineer for large, complex clients and across the range of company products and services. Performs VIP deskside support activities. Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct high-level installation activities for storage and network devices. Leverages advanced understanding of hardware, software and operating systems, along with advanced troubleshooting capabilities to address and resolve significant issues escalated from team members and/or clients. Tests and certifies mainframes, servers and other infrastructure associated with networks and peripherals. Installs, repairs and provides technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software, mainly on customer premises. Ensures systems operate as designed and are maintained and/or upgraded per requirements. Works collaboratively with technical colleagues to ensure customers receive timely, effective and seamless service. Schedules services, completes all required administration and works with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and understanding of product functionality. Troubleshoot operating system, application, and performance issues-Configure and troubleshoot mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Intune, Support MFA solutions including YubiKeys, smart cards, and authentication tokens, Manage Active Directory and Azure AD user accounts, Provide white-glove support for executives and VIP stakeholders. Create and maintain technical documentation. Develop knowledge articles and troubleshooting guides.
