Job summary

State Government of Victoria is seeking a Senior Project Officer to lead the development and delivery of professional learning for teachers and school leaders. You will work across the Academy with internal teams and external providers to ensure high-quality outcomes aligned to strategic objectives.

The role supports the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, with two ongoing positions commencing 1 January 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing professional learning or training projects.
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships and provide advisory input.
• Strong written communication and ability to translate evidence into practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage professional learning programs through their lifecycle.
• Coordinate teams, procure and onboard facilitators, and ensure high-quality learning design.
• Projects: manage timelines, risks, budgets, procurement and contracts.
