Job summary

Department of Education Victoria seeks a Manager, Leadership Excellence Division to lead the strategic development and implementation of the Academy's Middle Leadership professional learning programs. You will set direction, ensure quality and lead a high-performing team to deliver complex learning initiatives across the lifecycle.

You will provide strategic advice, oversee external partnerships and drive continuous improvement to support system-wide impact across Victoria's education sectors.

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong strategic planning and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic design and continuous improvement of the Middle Leadership unit.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team delivering programs and projects across their lifecycle.
• Provide strategic advice on program direction, systems, processes and policies to stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement, contracts and partnerships with external providers.
• Build partnerships to support innovation and system-wide impact.
• Monitor program performance, risks and outcomes to align with strategy and priorities.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and resolve complex issues.
• Contribute to divisional and organisational strategy and planning.
