Job summary

The Department of Education and Training, Victoria invites applications for the Manager, Teaching and Leadership Excellence Division. This role leads the strategic development and implementation of the Academy's Middle Leadership professional learning programs and directs a high-performing team to deliver evidence-informed learning across government, Catholic and independent schools.

Commencing 1 January 2027, the role partners with divisions to drive system-wide impact, strengthen leadership

Qualifications

Qualifications in Education, Project Management, Learning Design or similar.
Experience leading professional learning programs and initiatives.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience within government or large organisations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Leading the strategic design, development and continuous improvement of the Middle Leadership unit.
Managing and developing a high-performing team delivering a subset of programs and projects.
Providing strategic advice on program direction, systems, processes and delivery models to stakeholders.
Overseeing procurement, contracts and partnerships with external providers.
