Job summary

AURA Brisbane, a forthcoming high-end dining destination in Kangaroo Point, seeks a hands-on Sous Chef to join the core kitchen leadership team. You will work alongside the Head Chef on daily operations, uphold top standards of quality, and guide the kitchen brigade through service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
• Strong background in contemporary/author cuisine and fine dining
• Attention to plating quality and product standard

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, service execution, and stock control
• Ensure highest standards of food preparation, plating, and hygiene across all shifts
• Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen brigade during service
• Manage ordering, inventory rotation, and waste reduction
• Contribute to menu refinement and seasonal rotations
