The Westport Club in Port Macquarie is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead a busy, high-volume kitchen alongside our Head Chef. You will mentor chefs and apprentices, maintain top-quality food and drive excellence across our outlets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Lead, coach and develop chefs and apprentices to reach their potential.
• Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation across outlets.
• Assist with menu development, stock control, ordering and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and kitchen standards.
• Contribute to long-term growth and success of culinary operations.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers to source quality ingredients at best value.
