Job summary

Ava James Recruitment is helping a Western Australian builder find two Site Managers to lead the major apartment and mixed-use projects in WA. The role starts with onboarding in the office before taking control on site with strong support from an HSE Advisor, a Contracts Administrator and a dedicated project team.

The successful candidates will manage high-value, live projects, ensuring programme, quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable site management experience on multi-residential or commercial building projects.
• Good tenure across previous roles with stability.
• Discipline and attention to detail to run a job to high standards on programme, quality and safety.
• Ability to lead subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel and maintain a daily/weekly rhythm.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on the $60m projects and run them to programme, quality and safety.
• Attend an initial week in the office to get across systems, contracts, programme and subcontractor base.
• Then manage the live site with support from a dedicated HSE Advisor, Contracts Administrator and project team.
• Shadow the $40m project initially to ensure a smooth transition before commencement.
