Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment seeks a Site Manager to deliver a $60M Class 2 high-rise residential project in Sydney. You will lead site operations, coordinate subcontractors and site teams, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in site management, proven multi-storey residential delivery, and a track record of completing projects from structure to handover with strong WHS and quality controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry
• Strong experience delivering Class 2 high-rise or multi-storey residential apartment projects
• Proven experience managing projects from structure through to completion and handover
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, buildability and complex site logistics
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and large site teams
• Strong knowledge of WHS, quality assurance and project compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Construction-related qualification or trade background
• A strong track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard

Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations and project delivery
• Leading and managing subcontractors, trades, labour and site-based teams
• Managing the construction program, sequencing, site logistics and project milestones
• Driving project outcomes across cost, quality, safety and program
• Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project stakeholders
• Managing site inductions, WHS requirements, risk management and site compliance
• Overseeing construction from structure through to fit-out, finishing and defects
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with plans, specifications and quality standards
• Identifying and resolving construction issues and implementing effective solutions
• Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
• Providing leadership, direction and support to the wider site team
• Utilising site management systems including Hamertech and Procore
