Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking a Lead Security Technician / Site Supervisor for Melbourne projects. You will own installation deliveries, guide a small crew on site, and serve as the technical link between the project manager, clients and technicians.

Applicants bring 5+ years in electronic security, leadership experience on site, and knowledge of enterprise access control and IP CCTV. Victorian installer licence and cabler/White Card are required.

Qualifications

• Senior or lead technician experience on installation projects.
• Experience guiding site installations or coordinating a technician crew.
• Strong knowledge of at least one enterprise access control platform and IP CCTV.
• Comfortable with IP networking and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installations, coordinate daily activities, and allocate work.
• Install, program and commission access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems.
• Work with Gallagher/Integriti/Genetec/Milestone platforms.
• Interpret drawings, assist with scheduling, materials and variations.
• Conduct quality checks, testing, and client handover.
• Mentor junior technicians and support the team’s development.

Lead Security Technician / Site Supervisor - Electronic Security

A leading electronic security integrator is looking for an experienced Lead Technician / Site Supervisor to take ownership of installation projects across Melbourne.

This is an opportunity to join a close-knit team, lead projects from start to finish and play a key role in delivering quality electronic security installations. You'll lead a small crew on site, keep projects running smoothly and act as the key technical link between the project manager, clients and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installations, coordinate daily activities and allocate work across the crew.
• Install, program and commission access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and intercom systems.
• Work across enterprise platforms such as Gallagher, Integriti, Genetec and Milestone.
• Interpret technical drawings and assist with scheduling, materials and project variations.
• Conduct quality checks, testing and commissioning, ensuring a smooth client handover.
• Mentor junior technicians and support the ongoing development of the team.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in electronic security, including senior or lead technician responsibilities.
• Experience leading site installations or coordinating a team of technicians.
• Strong knowledge of at least one enterprise access control platform and IP CCTV systems.
• Confident with IP networking and troubleshooting.
• Current Victorian security installer licence.
• Open Cabler Registration, White Card and a current driver's licence.
