Job summary

HCF is seeking a Manager, Risk Assurance to lead the Line 2 Risk Assurance program and independently assure key risks across the organisation. You’ll help shape a growing capability, develop frameworks and practices, and strengthen risk management to support regulatory obligations.

You’ll lead assurance reviews, assess control effectiveness, governance, and compliance, delivering practical recommendations and driving stronger risk outcomes with stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk assurance, controls assurance or internal audit within regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, controls, governance and assurance practices.
• Experience assessing regulatory requirements (APRA CPS 230 and ASIC/FAR).
• Ability to lead end-to-end assurance reviews including planning, testing and remediation oversight.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Risk Management or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA or CIA.
