Job summary

Ampol is seeking a Reliability Manager for Energy Solutions to lead maintenance and reliability across Australia and New Zealand. The role reports to the Head of Asset Operations and defines strategy, governance and priorities for EV charging, solar and battery assets.

The position is a temporary full-time contract for two years, with delivery of performance improvements and budget oversight. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in Engineering Services or Facilities Maintenance.
• Experience developing strategy, governance and performance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve maintenance and reliability strategy, standards and governance for Energy Solutions assets in AU/NZ.
• Set priorities and decision frameworks for planned and reactive reliability activities.
• Monitor asset safety, uptime and maintenance compliance.
• Lead asset lifecycle planning and investment recommendations.
• Establish incident-management and problem-solving frameworks for asset issues.
• Oversee contractor, supplier and OEM performance across safety and life-cycle costs.
• Ensure accurate maintenance data and asset registers for safe operations.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, accruals and cost reporting.
• Lead, coach and establish KPIs and governance rhythms within the Reliability Team.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Risk and Commercial teams for commissioning and portfolio priorities.
