AGL is redefining how homes and businesses connect with energy, focusing on distributed energy assets and solar PV performance. The Asset Performance Engineer will monitor performance, diagnose faults and support onboarding across a diverse portfolio of renewable assets.

Based in Sydney or Melbourne, the role emphasizes troubleshooting, remote support, and continuous improvement to maximise asset reliability and customer outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline.
• Experience in solar PV system design, monitoring and/or operations.
• SAA / CEC qualifications are highly regarded, however not essential.
• Solid understanding of Australian standards and regulatory requirements.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and analyse system performance using monitoring platforms to identify and resolve faults.
• Provide remote technical support and site-based assistance to contractors for system issues.
• Support service case management and liaise with suppliers regarding technical support and warranty claims.
• Complete technical onboarding of newly installed energy assets, including design, operational and handover reviews.
• Review contractor documentation from planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Lead investigations into complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors.
